Crowded Company: Teaser

A little while ago I posted my undergrad thesis film, and I decided today why not post my thesis film.... teaser. The film isn't finished yet, but you can certainly check out where it's headed. I wrote it and co-directed it with my friend Austin Saya. The ever so talented Zach Graber shot it on the Canon 7D, which in my humble opinion is a god-send. Now, in all fairness we used Ziess Primes, so the camera behaves just as good as the image capturing glass you hook it up to. I'm still concerned about the refresh rate of the chip, but I really am excited to see all these new student films being shot in this DSLR format.

Oh, and this movie is really cool. I say this because I'm biased, but please feel free to check it out and hit me up with some comments.

A Modest Proposal: To Solve Tomorrow's Energy Crisis, Today

A Modest Proposal was my thesis film done in my undergrad at the Ontario College of Art and Design in Toronto, Canada. It was completed in 2008 just as we all feared the planet was going to shit. I thought a little satire would fair well as we spiraled to hell. Well, it's 2010 and we are still alive, and so is the film. Not until now has it lived on-line, so please feel free to pass it along.

The Lorax

I think it's time I put this project online. I produced this last winter and I've been keeping it tight amongst my buddies. But why not show everyone?

Film Festival

There's been a lot going on as of late in Savannah. Mostly The Savannah Film Festival... for one. An organization my buddy and I started here called 16 by 9 is putting together a few interviews and you can check them out here. Just for added value I'm posting a short film I made this summer. Really for no reason. Enjoy.

Google Voice

Just added a Google Voice account. So click here if you'd like to contact me via cell. It seems to work with long distance too. I have no idea who gets charged for it. Figure it out when the phone bill arrives :P

What's going on?

Where have you been? I waited for you to come back for seven whole months! Just like I thought, no excuse. Typical. Now that we got the histrionics out of the way, I'd like to update you with what's going on at TCP. I moved from Toronto, ON to Savannah, GA in August. I am officially a graduate student at The Savannah College of Art and Design headed towards my BFA in Film & TV. Unfortunately I haven't had much time to update the site. For this I apologize, and as part of my New Years resolution I promise to update this kitty. Please stay tuned.

This is Summer?

Unfortunately the Toronto weather isn't cooperating with me these days. Today is the first sunny and HOT day in a while, and I have spent it working on some fun new projects. Documentary extraordinaire Igal Hecht has commissioned me to work on a title for his newest film My Flag. Check back soon to see some more motion work on-line. As always you can give me a shout here.

Happy Mother's Day!

Besides brunches, lunches, dinners and flower purchasing I managed to validate the XHTML on the site. That means I can legitimately put this cute little stamp all over the site. For the sake of not being labeled a complete nerd by all, I think I'll pass (I fear ridicule). Instead here is my proof that I took the time validated the site. Booyah. W3C eat your heart out.
